Working Towards A Fact-Based Future
By Students, For Students

We Are Newspective
Newspective is a student-run, nonpartisan news platform dedicated to providing high school and college students with the essential knowledge for understanding the world around us.
We are the only independently-run, international news platform designed with the demanding lives of students in mind. As an entirely student-run operation, we understand that most young adults don’t have the time, energy, or necessary skills to read and fully digest the lengthy, dense articles published by major news organizations. We also recognize that attempting to confront and interpret the overwhelming amount of information and disinformation on the internet, especially on social media, is a daunting task that turns many young people away from politics.
Newspective strives to motivate our peers to take an active stance on their political beliefs by providing quick and easy rundowns on our world’s most pressing issues. We also publish opinion articles and personal essays written by students to offer an understanding of different viewpoints on a variety of issues affecting the world around us.
We believe that understanding the world around us does not have to be as complex as the issues that plague it. We believe that unbiased, accurate news should be accessible to everyone- regardless of ability, socio-economic status, or education. We make helping young people understand how and why different political actions affect different people a top priority. To understand one another, we must understand the most important issues our world is facing and how those issues impact our peers.
We are inheriting a damaged world- a world we cannot change if we do not understand it.
